biography
Hannah Gamache (b. 2006) is an American artist based in New England. She specializes in painting and drawing; working mainly with oil paint, pencil, and ink. She is working toward her Bachelor in Fine Arts at the University of New Hampshire to further pursue her artistic career.
artist statement
As I navigate the world as a young woman, I often find that my experiences and values are easiest to express through my paintbrushes and pencils. My pieces act as a time capsule for the feelings I was experiencing in the moment they were created. Each mark is made with intention, radiating an energy throughout the piece and bringing it to life. I want my work to feel as alive as I do while I create it. My artwork is the most genuine aspect of myself; a direct reflection of my human psyche. For as long as I continue to feel, I will continue to create.
